Why are Trees so Important?

Why are Trees so
Important?
Trees Stops Global Warming
Excess co2 (CO2) is
accumulating within our
atmosphere, adding to global
warming. Trees absorb CO2,
remove carbon and release
oxygen into the air.
Trees Clean The Environment
Trees absorb pollutant and bad
gases (nitrogen oxides,
ammonia, sulfur dioxide and
ozone) and filter particulates
from the air by trapping them in
their leaves.
TREES PROVIDE
OXYGEN
In a single year one mature
tree can offer enough
oxygen for many people in a
day only.
TREES CONSERVE ENERGY
Trees conserve energy by
reducing the power in cooling
our homes. Co2 gets reduced
with other pollutants by
emissions from power plants,
trees helps to reduce them.
TREES SAVE WATER
Shade from trees slows water
evaporation from lawns. Most
recently grown trees simply have
15 gallons water every week.
TREES SHIELD FROM UV Rays
UV rays is cause of cancer also.
UV rays are harmful to human health
and body.
TREES helps in Stopping SOIL
EROSION
On hilly areas landslides, stream
slopes can occurs. Trees hold soil
in those kind of position.
Community & Social Value
Trees are an important part of every
community. Our streets, parks,
playgrounds and backyards are lined
with trees that create a peaceful,
aesthetically pleasing environment.
