Indira Gandhi
He Ruled India as PM from 24th January 1966 – 24th 
March 1977.It was  for 11 years, 59 days.

Then again she was PM from 14th January 1980 – 31st 
October 1984 .It was for 4 years, 291 days

Indira Gandhi was the first woman Prime Minister of 
India


Morarji Desai
He was PM from 24th March 1977 to 28th July 1979.

It was for 2 years, 126 day.

Morarji Desai is the first non Congress Prime Minister 
of India. 


Charan Singh
He ruled as PM from 28th July 1979 to14th January 1980

It was for 170 days.

He was from Indian National Congress


Rajiv Gandhi
He became PM in 1984 and from 31st October 1984 to 
2nd December 1989.

It was for 5 years, 32 days

Rajiv Gandhi became Prime Minister at age-40 years.


JANATA DAL

His tenure was from 2nd December 1989 to 10th 
November 1990.

It was for 343 days.

Full name was JANATA DAL V.P. Singh and worked 
to improve the bad  conditions of poor also.


Chandra Shekhar
His was from tenure 10th November 1990 to 21st 
June 1991.
It was  for 223 days.
He was from INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS


P. V. Narasimha Rao
His tenure was from 21st June 1991 to 16th May 1996.

It was for 4 years 330 days.

P. V. Narasimha Rao was well known as the Father 
of Indian Economic Reforms.

1997.

He improved in the affairs like Home Affairs, 
Petroleum and Chemicals, Urban Employment, 
Food processing.


I.K. Gujral

His tenure was from 21st April 1997 to 19th March 1998.

It was for 332 days

He was also known as Gujral Doctrine.


Manmohan Singh

His tenure was from 22nd May 2004 to May 2014.

It was for 10 years 

Manmohan Singh worked as banking as well as 
financial sector also. 


Narendra Modi

He is the PM of India right now. He became PM in 
May 2014.

His full name is Narendra Damodardas Modi. 

He has introduced many  policies such as the Jan 
Dhan Yojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan ,Clean Ganga 
project, many more.
