Brief Presentation about Astigmatism
                     Astigmatism ?
The clear saucer-like tissue in front of the eye is called the
cornea and it is responsible for focusing the light waves into
the eyes. It is like a round shaped half of the basketball
normally. The even curved nature of the cornea allows the
light to focus the object clearly.
However, when the curved nature is deviated in its entire
surface, it may cause blurriness or ghost images around
objects. So also it affects the vision of both closely placed
and distant placed objects. This condition is corrected either
by glasses or contact lenses. Sometimes this is also corrected
by refractive surgery.
