• BD® syringes are available in 2-piece technology (without stopper) or 3-piece technology 
(with stopper). 
• They also come with and without an attached needle. 
• They feature a clear barrel for holding liquid, clearly graduated to allow accurate and visual 
measurement of the syringe contents.
• The syringes are available with a BD® luer lock tip, concentric luer slip tip or eccentric luer 
slip tip and can be fitted with either a conventional needle or safety needle. 
• Catheter tip syringes are used for flushing (cleaning) catheters, gastrostomy tubes and other 
devices.
