RFP PROPOSAL 1
CaptioningStar services were requisitioned by a Stockholm based reputed 
international marketing and advertising company ‘UP There Everywhere’. The 
company hosted three events on April 15th, April 20th, and April 27th 2020 on the 
ZOOM Video Conferencing Platform.
Real time Spanish subtitles were to be added to the 
conference that had English speakers for the event 
named ‘Power UP’ that was LIVE Streamed. The 
topic for discussion was ‘Digital Education for 
Healthcare Professionals’.
On the scheduled day of the event, CaptioningStar 
designated an Australian based English-to-Spanish 
bilingual subtitling captioner for the LIVE stream of 
the event.

A ZOOM link was sent to us by the 
organizing company, the ‘3rd Party CC’ 
ZOOM link was sent to the captioner.
Fifteen minutes before the event was 
scheduled, a dry run was performed for 
the satisfaction of the organizing 
company. 
With everything set to 
perfection, and as the English 
speaker began the LIVE 
conference, Spanish subtitles 
appeared at the bottom of the 
screen, with a time lag of 2-3 
seconds.

How did we overcome the Challenges
There are no organizational challenges for our company for subtitling or captioning similar events, 
since we have been doing it for years. The only challenges that we have to overcome are finding 
bilingual professionals with capabilities of providing real time subtitles and captions with 99% 
accuracy, and are available at any point in time, to meet the demands of our clients based in 
different time zones.

In this instance, the event was held in the GMT timezone, while we are US based in the EST 
time zone, and our captioner hailed from Australia, so that was the only challenge of 
coordinating with different entities, and successfully accomplishing the project.

All three events were accurately subtitled, and the representative of ‘UP There 
Everywhere’ coordinating with our sales team was seemingly satisfied with our 
services.
