WINE CELLAR COOLING SYSTEMS
The proper storage and ageing of wine are 
dependent on a precise balance of 
temperature and humidity control.  The 
rate of maturation of wine is aff ected by 
temperature, with 60 per cent being ideal. 
Corks can dry out due to low humidity, 
resulting in wine degradation, leakage, 
and evaporation. Mold and fungus can 
grow in high humidity, contaminating the 
room and bottles and causing labels to 
peel.
