Here is a list of online learning apps that are helpful for the student while studying online. We are sharing both their advantages or disadvantages.

Math Evolve
ADVANTAGES:- The student are able
to practice their basic facts by
playing game. This helps keep them
engaged.
DISADVANTAGES:- This program does
not give feedback to the teachers.
Some students do become board with
the games, because they "know"
their facts.
Class Dojo
ADVANTAGES:- This app is used to help
with classroom management. The teacher
is able to display the application
throughout the day and the students can
see if they earned or if they lost points.
DISADVANTAGES:- Some students do not
do well with the flipping of the card
classroom management program. Class
Dojo is an electronic version of this
method.

ADVANTAGES:- The teacher is
able to create lesson with voice
and interactive slides that can
be shared with their students.
Great for use at home when the
student is struggling they can
go back a re-watch the video
lesson.
DISADVANTAGES:- There are
free and pay plans. Depending
on the needs of the teacher,
they may need to pay for a
subscription.
Nearpod
ADVANTAGES:- Nearpod allows the teacher to
create interactive lessons that are displayed
on the student device while they are
teaching. During the lesson students interact
with the program and answer imbedded
questions that the teacher can use for
immediate feedback.
DISADVANTAGES:- The free account has
limited storage, so depending on the teacher
needs they may need to upgrade to a paid
subscription
Quizzez
ADVANTAGES:- On online quiz
program. For those who already use
gizmos you will be familiar with this
program. Quizzez allows the
teacher to create interactive
quizzes that the students take while
competing against each other. The
program allows the students to
work at their own pace and gives
feedback to the teacher in the form
of charts and graphs.
DISADVANTAGES:- There are
students who do not test well
online, so that feedback maybe
invalid.
Scootpad
ADVANTAGES:- Allows the teacher to
set up lessons for the students on an
individual basis. The lessons are
common core based for math and
language arts. Teachers are able to see
the students data on their progress.
DISADVANTAGES:- The free version
does not have all of the abilities as the
pay version. The program requires or
its wrong. Some errors in the answers
because of this.
Prezi
ADVANTAGES:- Allows the
students to create
presentations that are more
interesting then the normal
power point. The new tools
make the presentation more
interesting and the students
love the create with this
program.
DISADVANTAGES:- Students
start to spend to much time on
the "cool" features and forget
the get all of the information
that they need for the
presentation.
Padlet
ADVANTAGES:- This program allows
the students to brainstorm on a
specific topic. The students place
stickies on the virtual cork board
that the teacher created.
DISADVANTAGES:- The students can
see what each other are writing, so
they may wait to see other answers
before they write their own.
Skitch
ADVANTAGES:- Students are
able to screen shot, crop,
resize, and write over pictures.
The images can be used in any
presentation.
DISADVANTAGES:- Students
spend to much time playing
with the app instead of creating
their presentation.
Geoboard
ADVANTAGES:- Online version of the
geoboard that many of used as students.
The program allows students to
manipulate a geoboard for a variety of
topics.
DISADVANTAGES:- Keeping students on
task may be hard, because they just
want to make their own picture on the
geoboard instead of the required one.
