Range Extender
Linksys AC1900 Extender Setup is the name of the setup 
or installation manual for Linksys AC1900 equipment, 
such as the Linksys RE7000 Setup. The Linksys RE7000 
AC1900 is regarded as one of the best extenders for 
increasing the wireless coverage of your main Wi-Fi 
router. Also, this extender eliminates any dead zones or 
areas in or around your home.
Setting up a Linksys AC1900 extender manually
● Wait for the extension to turn on after connecting it to a power source.
● Use an Ethernet cable to connect a computer to the extender, or join its Wi-Fi network.
● The default IP address of the extension should be entered into the address bar of a web 
browser.192.168.1.1 is the IP address by default.
● It will display the extender login page. Input the default login information, which is typically 
password for the password and admin for the username. Enter the new login information if 
you have previously updated your login credentials.
● Start of the setup wizard. Configure the extension according to the directions.
● Choose the Wi-Fi network you want to expand and input the network password when 
requested.
● Choose the extender network name (SSID) and password.
● To finish the setup procedure and save the settings, click "Save."
Linksys AC1900 Setup using the WPS Method
● Open the extender's box first.
● Attach a power supply to it.
● The AC1900 and a home router should be placed in the same space.
● Keep an eye out for the orange light to turn green after two minutes.
● Press the WPS button on your AC1900.
● After a minute, click the WPS button on the main router.
● Watch the WPS LED until it is entirely green-lit.
● Now that your extension's setting is complete, you can transfer it to the 
location of your choice.
