A Chinese trader availed Bank Comfort Letter – BCL MT799 
from Bronze Wing Trading to sign the contract for purchasing 
 heavy machineries from a German Supplier.

Problem: Buyer Needs to Prove 
Their Financial Status to the 
Supplier
 The Buyer contacted the German Supplier to purchase 
heavy machineries for their rental business. 
 To conclude the deal, the Supplier asked the buyer to 
show the Proof of Funds by providing Bank Comfort 
Letter in favor of their company. 
 This Bank Comfort Letter can assure the Supplier that 
the buyer is financially capable to purchase the 
machineries as per the agreed contract.

Challenge: To Avail BCL MT799 On 
Behalf of their Company
 The buyer contacted their bank to avail on behalf of 
their company, but the bank denied issuing BCL, as the 
company is the new startup. 
 So, the buyer started searching for trade finance 
providers to avail BCL. They were referred to Bronze 
Wing Trading, by one of their friend named Lian Kang 
(One of Our Happy Client). 
 The buyer contacted us and booked an appointment to 
meet us at our Dubai office.

Solution: BWT Facilitated BCL 
MT799
 The Client visited our office and had a discussion with 
our CEO. They liked our personalized approach and 
signed the service agreement on the same day. 
 They paid the admin charges to start the work on their 
BCL transaction. Then, our bank structured the required 
BCL and sent it to us for the client’s approval. 
 The client approved the BCL draft and paid the issuance 
fee charges to us. Accordingly, we instructed our bank to 
notify the requested BCL on behalf of the buyer to the 
supplier’s account via authenticated Swift MT799.

Final Outcome: Both the Buyer & 
The Supplier Signed the Contract 
 After receiving the BCL in their favor, the supplier 
assured that the buyer has the enough funds to 
purchase the machineries, as per the contract. 
 Then, the supplier forwarded the POP (Proof of Product) 
of the heavy machineries to the buyer. 
 Finally, both the Buyer & The Supplier Signed the 
Contract & the Deal Concluded Successfully!
