● I’m Jai ashok mahtani sharing with you best electric guitar songs for
beginners.
● At this point, I am going to assume that you have selected your
type of guitar, be it electric or acoustic, have decided on the model,
and have picked up between chords and leads and where to start
with.
● In a previous post, we discussed the easiest songs to play on the
acoustic guitar for beginners.
● So let’s get cracking!
Back in Black By AC/DC
● Oh, what a classic! And what a privilege to be able to play such a
classic song from one of the most popular rock bands of all time.
● Back in Black by AC/DC is a pretty easy song to play for a beginner
as it does not require too many crazy skills.
● Though the player will have to switch between different styles of
playing as it has riffs ending in high as well as low notes.
● Since electric guitar songs are not just some chords and a
strumming pattern, I will be leaving a tutorial link and a link to the
songs down below!

Zombie by Cranberries
● If you would remember, Zombie by Cranberries had made the
previous list in songs to play on your acoustic guitar if you are a
beginner list as well.
● And that is because it is such a beautiful song.
● You can play the song with the same chords and strumming pattern
as mentioned in the previous list on an electric guitar as well. It is a
simple yet moving classic.
● It can be played in several different styles but I am going to link the
classic style tutorial down below.
● Chords: Em, C, G, D/F#

Born free by Kid Rock
● Kid Rock is a legend, we all know that.
● But it is not so difficult to play some songs of a guitar legend.
● Born Free by Kid Rock has some spices added up in it by the
legendary musician sure, but it has a very easy chord progression.
● It sounds nice and is easy to play. Plus practicing a song by a great
musician is a good practice to get the confidence needed to play on
stage or in front of your friends.
● If you want to be a vocalist as well as a guitar player, this song can
come in handy to practice for such. There are simple versions of the
song to play so I am going to link the non-fancy tutorial down below.

Rockstar by Nickelback
● This song is an old hit of the popular rock band called Nickelback.
Nickelback was a sensation and I remember how everyone used to
jam to their music.
● Rockstar by Nickelback is a pretty good beginner’s song as it has
only a few basic chords to play and the tempo is phenomenally easy
to keep up with.
● It is a great song to gain confidence and get into the habit of
playing on an electric guitar.
● A very basic song but fruitful to learn nonetheless.

Pumped up by Kicks by Foster the People
● Oh, what a beauty this song is! It is personally one of my favorite
songs of all time.
● The message, the playing style, and the band itself, I am a huge fan
of this song. This is a song that will go down in history for its
significance in portraying the social environment of the USA in
recent years.
● But putting classics aside, it is also a very easy song to play! There
are only 4 chords to play in this legend of a song and they follow
the same order!
● The strumming and tempo might be a bit different but it is quite
easy to get a hang of.
