GRE test takers want to know how to do well on the exam – in other 
words, how to pass the GRE. The fact is that the GRE cannot be passed or 
failed. Really! The GRE does not have a pass rate like the Bar Exam. You 
may instead send any GRE results you choose to colleges, regardless of 
how high or low they are. So, what exactly do we mean when we say 
"pass the GRE"? Passing the GRE implies obtaining the scores necessary 
to get admission to the programs of your choice.
Is it possible to pass 
(or fail) the GRE?
After you've completed the GRE, you'll receive your results, 
and that's it. Finally, you must decide whether you passed 
or failed the GRE, as well as if your results are worthy of 
being sent to graduate schools.

require test takers to fill in blanks with words or 
groups of words, putting their sentence structure 
and critical thinking skills, as well as their sheer 
knowledge of higher vocabulary, to the test.
