of your garden. If you manage to find a small space where you can grow tiny

is no hard and fast rule; all you have to do is select some petite plants that grow 
really slowly.
Whatever container you select, make sure that each one of them has proper 
water outlet. Without proper drainage your container or at worst your entire 
garden will be damaged. If you are going to place it on furniture, always 
remember to put a tray beneath to avoid the furniture from being damaged.
