Infinity’s secondary packaging for pouches (IBP-200) is used to make a bundle of products collate them and provide a neat flow-wrapped package at high production speeds. The secondary packs are made in Heat Sealable Laminate and can be further produced as shrink-pack products. For non-rigid products, the packs are passed through sandwich conveyors to maintain uniformity and reduce the size of the final packs for transport readiness. The secondary pouch packaging solution utilizes Infinity’s state-of-the-art RACETRACK system for high-speed product collation, gentle product transfer, precise handling, and quick changeovers. With our advanced and efficient secondary packaging system, individual pouches from 100 grams up to 1 Kg are packed in a large pouch using the counting and bundling mechanism integrated with the flow wrap system. Besides, the system can pack up to 20 secondary packs per minute and can be integrated with your VFFS or HFFS machines. This sensor-based technology enables the exact count of your products and ensures 100% QA products reach customers along with a check-weighing option. Every secondary packaging solution we offer is developed and customized keeping in mind our client’s requirement and area of application.
Automatic Secondary Packaging Solution for Pouches
The Path to Efficiency: Automated Secondary
Packaging for Pouches
In a breakthrough for the packaging industry, innovative technology
has ushered in a new era of efficiency and convenience. Manufacturers
of pouch-based products are celebrating as fully automatic secondary
packaging for pouches becomes a reality, promising to streamline
operations and reduce costs.
The Pouch Packaging Revolution
Pouch packaging has gained immense popularity in recent years due to
its flexibility and consumer-friendly design. Products ranging from
snacks, pet food, and even hygiene products now come in pouches,
making them convenient for consumers and environmentally friendly,
with reduced material usage compared to traditional packaging.
However, the manual process of packaging pouches into larger cartons
or cases has been a labor-intensive and costly operation for many
manufacturers. This is where the fully automatic secondary packaging
solutions come into play.

Key Advantages of Fully Automatic
Secondary Packaging
Efficiency: The introduction of fully automatic secondary packaging means
that the labor-intensive and time-consuming process of manually placing
pouches into cartons is eliminated. This not only reduces production time
but also minimizes the risk of errors and inconsistencies.
Cost Savings: With reduced labor requirements, manufacturers can save
significantly on labor costs, which often make up a substantial portion of the
production expenses.
Consistency: Automation ensures that each carton or case is packed with
the same number of pouches, improving product quality and reducing the
risk of under packing or over packing.
Speed: Machines equipped with this technology can work at high speeds,
significantly increasing the overall production output.
Customization: These systems can be configured to handle various pouch
sizes and packaging configurations, making them adaptable to a wide range
of products.
Technology behind the Innovation
Fully automatic secondary packaging systems rely on a combination of
robotic arms, conveyor belts, and computer vision technology. Robotic
arms are programmed to pick and place pouches into cartons with
precision, while computer vision systems ensure that pouches are
properly positioned and oriented before packing.
These systems can be integrated into existing production lines and are
often controlled through user-friendly interfaces, allowing for easy
setup and monitoring.
Industry Adoption and Outlook
The adoption of fully automatic secondary packaging solutions for
pouches is gaining momentum across various industries. Snack food
manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and even e-commerce
businesses are recognizing the benefits of this technology.
As technology continues to evolve, it's expected that the cost of these
systems will decrease, making them accessible to a broader range of
manufacturers
Conclusion
In conclusion, the introduction of fully automatic secondary packaging
for pouches represents a significant advancement in the packaging
industry. It not only enhances efficiency and cost-effectiveness but also
ensures product consistency and quality. This innovation is set to
transform how manufacturers package their products and will likely
have a positive impact on consumers and the environment by reducing
waste and improving the overall production process.
