Netgear EX7500 factory Reset
The software that comes pre-installed on the booster is called firmware. Like the
operating systems that run on your smartphone or computer, it also controls all of the
device's internal operations.
You may be amazed why one should update the firmware. Better performance is a
major factor. Having WiFi or internet access throughout one's home is a desire shared
by all. In next slide there is a detailed description how to reset the Netgear EX7500
Reset.
Netgear EX7500 hard reset:
Hard Reset
● Search for a sharp pointy thing to hit the factory reset button.
● Look for the Factory Reset button on the backside of Netgear EX7500 Extender.
● Wait for some time until the device to Extender LED starts fluctuating amber
before pressing the reset button with a paper clip or pen.
● Wait for the EX7500 to reset.
Soft Reset
● To browse the internet, use a computer that is connected to the EX7500.
● Open any web browser or type www.mywifiext.net in the address bar.
● To access the setup page, press enter now.
● Then click Login after entering your email address and password on the login screen.
● Click Settings >Additional Settings on the NETGEAR login page.
● Tap Reset. To continue further and press Yes.
● Watch the web interface as the device completes setting itself back to factory defaults.
