Gurudwara Santokhsar Sahib is one of the historic Sikh shrines located in Amritsar, Punjab, India. This sacred site is associated with Guru Ram Das Ji, the fourth Guru of Sikhism, who founded the city of Amritsar. According to tradition, Guru Ram Das Ji directed his followers to dig a holy tank, or sarovar, at this spot. The name “Santokhsar” comes from the word "Santokh," meaning contentment, symbolizing peace and satisfaction for those who visit this Gurudwara.
