                     Daayitwa is a Nepal-based non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to fostering 
inclusive and equitable economic growth through youth employment, rural 
entrepreneurship, and governance innovation. Established in 2013, Daayitwa is part of the 
broader Daayitwa Abhiyaan, which includes sister organizations such as the Governance Lab, 
Nepal Leadership Academy, and Nepal Rising (Daayitwa-US)

 Key Programs and Initiatives 
1. Rural Enterprise Acceleration Program (REAP) 
REAP aims to stimulate rural employment by identifying and supporting growth-oriented 
women and youth entrepreneurs. The program provides capacity building, connects 
enterprises with financial institutions, and strengthens municipal enterprise ecosystems 
through a one-year, municipality-based competition model

2. Daayitwa Nepal Public Policy Fellowship (DNPPF) 
Launched in 2013, DNPPF engages young Nepali professionals in policy research 
collaborations with government agencies and parliamentarians. Participants receive training 
in leadership, public administration, and research methodologies, aiming to foster evidence-
based policymaking and strengthen youth-government collaboration

3. Mission Aasha 
Mission Aasha is a campaign designed to connect catalysts of hope in rural Nepal with 
champions of change abroad, particularly in the U.S. It focuses on enabling rural youth and 
women to lead their communities toward a prosperous future by accelerating rural 
enterprises and strengthening policy implementation at municipal and provincial levels

Daayitwa's team comprises globally trained Nepali professionals with expertise in 
entrepreneurship, governance, and leadership. The Board of Advisors includes leaders from
