CALYPSO COTTAGE
Big Clear Lake is approximately 6 (9.6km) miles long 
and between 3/4 (1.2km) and 1 1/2 miles (2.4km) wide 
at the west end of the Lake. From the Island eastward 
the structure is mostly rocky with small sandy areas in 
the back bays; Big clear lake is a spring fed lake; the 
water is prestine, and very clear, there are rocky 
shoals in some areas of the lake where the water is 
over 150ft deep. Most of the lake has a hard sand 
bottom; Great for swimming, the fishing is good, the 
lake is stocked with Bass, Pickeral and Pike. There 
are many islands and inlets on Big Clear Lake, The 
lake also has a public boat launch, Great for sailing, 
Canoeing and water Skiing.
BIRCH 
POINT

KENNEBEC OAKES
Kennebec Lake is located in Central Frontenac, off highway 
7,  north  of  Arden,  Ont  (approximately  20  km  west  of 
Sharbot Lake). The lake is approximately 14 km long and 
is"home"  to  over  200  seasonal  and  permanent  residents 
and is surrounded by many other beautiful lakes for the 
adventurous  cottager.  As  well,  Kennebec  Lake  offers 
excellent fishing. Marvel at the hummingbirds and admire 
the aerial skills of the osprey and share the environment 
with blue heron, loons, beaver, muskrat, river otters, and 
the occasional black bear.
