Coca cola is a soft drink which produced 
by Coca Cola Company.  This drink is 
invented by Dr. John Pemberton. He 
sold this drink to a business man named 
Asa Griggs Candler. Dr. Pemberton’s 
partner Frank M. Robinson gave the name 
“Coca Cola” and also designed the 
trademark for the company. 
Ingredients
Original Ingredients of coca cola were 
coca leaves, and kola nuts, But current 
formula of this drink is a secret. 
• Carbonated water.
• Sugar.
• Caffeine.
• Phosphoric acid.
• Caramel Color.
• Natural Flavorings.

• Caffeine Free Coca-Cola(1983-
Present).

In starting Coca-Cola sold as 5 cent per 
glass during 1st year in Atlanta but 
according to the some recent reports 
servings of Coca‑Cola beverages are 
estimated at 1.9 billion globally. In 1888 
Coca-Cola became the first selling 
beverage in the world.
Coca-Cola Bottles
After seeing the growing demand of 
Coca-Cola, First bottling of Coca-Cola 
started in  Mississippi, and Vicksburg in 
1894. This bottling work was done 
under the leadership of Joseph A. 
Biedenharn. First bottles were 
Hutchinson bottles and later came 
another design which was Hobble-skirt 
design.
Advertising Campaign
Coca-Cola First marketing Strategy was 
free samples of the beverage through 
coupons in 1887. Company has been 
started different types of campaign 
like:- 
• In 1970, “connected with fun, friends 
and good times”.
• In 1971,“I’d Like to Buy the World a 
Coke”. 
• In 1979, “Have a Coke and a Smile”.
• In 1980,  “Are You Getting Enough 
Happiness?”.
• Animated Ad with the help of 
Animated Polar Bears, “Always Coca-
Cola” Campaign. 
• In 2009,  “Open Happiness”.
• In 2010, “Open the Games. Open 
Happiness”.
• Most Popular slogan of the Coca-Cola 
in history is “The Pause That 
Refreshes” first appeared in 1929.
Distribution
• Distribution of Coca-Cola in 
Myanmar Started in June 2012. 
• Coca-Cola is now available in every 
country  except Cuba and North 
Korea.
