Roku offers various streaming media 
content from several online services. It 
is basically designed for unlimited 
entertainment. By the following simple 
steps, you can activate Roku streaming 
player. 
How to connect Roku device with TV-
Connect Roku streaming device to any TV with HDMI® 
port; however, a Roku player requires an HDMI cable 
connection. We recommend you to select a High-Speed 
HDMI Cable if your TV is supporting 720p and 1080p. You 
can also use a premium High-Speed HDMI cable if your TV 
is supporting  4K Ultra HD.
If your TV does not support HDMI, you can connect your 
Roku device to the audio/video connection. Connect to a 
single port labeled "A/V" or "A/V OUT," or your TV may 
have a separate port for audio and video. 
STEP 1
Connect your Roku device to 
your TV
Using your HDMI or 
audio/video port on the TV, 
connect it to the Roku 
streaming device
STEP 2
Connect your Roku player to your wired network
If your Roku has an 
Ethernet port in wired 
connection then connect 
one end of the Ethernet 
cable to the player and 
another one to your router 
or network switch. 
STEP 3
Connect your Roku device to power
Use a power adapter if 
you connect it from the 
wall outlet.  Otherwise, 
you can use a USB port on 
your TV.
STEP 4
Power on your TV and select the correct input
Power on your TV with 
the help of a TV remote 
and select the input 
where you connected 
your Roku device. After 
that, Roku's logo will be 
shown on your TV 
screen.
On Screen Setup and Activation
1. Choose language
2. Connect Roku streaming player to the 
internet 
3. Download the latest version of software to 
your Roku device.
4. Set the display type from the setting.
5. Set your remote to control Roku: Settings > 
Remotes & devices > Remote > Set up 
remote for TV control.
6. Activate a Roku account by entering the 
activation code; visit roku.com/link  to activate 
your account. 
7. Now, it’s done. Explore your entertainment.
