Graduated with a Bachelors of Science
Mitchell Tiedke attended the University of Minnesota's 
College of Biological Sciences. He graduated with a 
Bachelors of Science in Genetics, Cell Biology, and 
Development with a Minor in Public Health. In 2018, 
Mitchell Tiedke moved to Colorado so that he could attend 
physician assistant school. Some of Mitchell Tiedke's 
previous work experience includes working as a personal 
care assistant and a certified nursing assistant. He has also 
worked in an undergrad research lab for two years.
 A Wide Range of Leadership Skills
Mitchell Tiedke has a wide range of 
leadership skills that will help him to excel 
in the role of physician assistant. When 
attending the University of Minnesota, 
Mitchell Tiedke featured on the College of 
Biological Sciences Student Board as the 
Vice President. In this role, Mitchell Tiedke 
had a wide range of responsibilities 
including representing the college at 
University events and advocating for CBS 
students, interviewing and selecting board 
members, and liaising with students to help 
identify issues with university life.
A Certified Nursing Assistant
Mitchell Tiedke is a certified nursing assistant who is 
currently attending school to become a physician assistant. 
To help his career in the healthcare industry, Mitchell 
Tiedke has gained Basic Life Support and First Aid 
certification. During his time as a nursing assistant, Mitchell 
Tiedke has become proficient using a range of medical 
equipment including feeding pumps, oximeters, oxygen 
concentrators, Hoyer lifts, nebulizers, oral suctioning 
equipment, CPAP, and mechanical wheelchairs. He hopes 
this will set him up for his career as a physician assistant.
An Aspiring Healthcare

Mitchell Tiedke is an aspiring healthcare professional 
who has experience working as a direct care 
professional and a nursing station technician. At 
present, Mitchell Tiedke is at school in Colorado 
gaining qualifications that will enable him to land his 
dream role as a physician assistant.
A Naturally Caring Person
Mitchell Tiedke is a naturally 
caring person who has 
previously spent his spare time 
working with the emergency 
shelter, People Serving People. 
While working with this 
organization, Mitchell Tiedke 
assisted children from 
homeless families with 
homework and reading and 
also provided engaging 
activities to foster learning and 
social development.
