Overview of G120 Power Module
• A modular frequency converter for a wide range of drive requirements is the 
G120 Power Module. You can always create the perfect converter for your 
specific applications and industry branch thanks to the component's modular 
design and broad power range of 0.55 to 250 kW. Three voltage variations for this 
series of converters are offered for connecting to networks at 200 V, 400 V, and 
690 V. A robust machine safety package is another characteristic of the SINAMICS 
G120. The safety functions are put into commission using SINAMICS Stardrive.

• The Control Unit uses a variety of selectable closed-loop control types to monitor 
and control the Power Module and the linked motor. It facilitates communication 
between monitoring equipment and a local or central controller. The motor 
receives power from the Power Module in the interval of 0.37 kW to 250 kW. It 
has pulse width modulation and cutting-edge IGTB technology for incredibly 
dependable and adaptable motor operation. The Power Module and the motor 
are highly protected by comprehensive protective mechanisms.
