  From the Director’s desk
            English literature, since ages, has fascinated one and all. It is all 
about studying texts from around the world, written in the English 
Language. Generally, Literature refers to different types of text 
including novels, non-fiction, poetry, and plays, and among other 
forms. English literature means different things in different 
contexts. Literature comes from the Latin word "litera" which means 
"acquainted with letters." At the college or graduate level, English 
literature tends to refer to British or other Literature. The era has 
changed and we study now, literatures written in English. It refers to 
the study of a particular text in details, its writer, his theme, style, 
and genre. 
        In my past career of 21 years, I have taught numerous students 
across India who came with a dream and passion to become 
Professors. Those who wanted to qualify IAS mains in English 
Literature also came and studied. English literature, since ages, has 
fascinated one and all. As an academic discipline, it has held sway 
for innumerable students the world over. Students who took my 
study material which was prepared with a vision and mission to 
teach every aspect of historical background of Literature also came 
out with flying colours of NET and JRF.

Dr Dev Vrat Mishra is the Founder and Director of Dron Academy of 
Education. He graduated from the University of Allahabad and History 
was one of the subjects of his combination. He learnt a lesson of life 
along with my academics in this university at one point called the 
“Oxford of the East”. Its Motto “As Many Branches So Many Trees” (Ouot 
Romi Tot Arbores) reflects in his entire academic personality. History has 
been always his passion, which is supposed to be the mother of all the 
social sciences. 
The seeds of History was sown in the fertile valley of his brain and in the soil of his soul by his 
transcendent, unparalleled and Incomparable professors. UGC-NET and civil services exams are the two 
most prestigious competitive exams of the country. Fortunately, He has been an integral part of both the 
programs, whether as a competitor or as a mentor. 
He is an expert of History as an optional subject for Civil Services (IAS/PCS) mains examination and have 
been teaching Paper-I along with the subject History for UGC-NET since 2002. He has been associated 
with the civil services programs in the name of RCA under the auspices of four minority central 
universities along with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Central University, Lucknow respectively for minorities and 
SC/ST/OBCs, since its inception. He started his teaching career as an Expert of History for IAS/PCS and 
UGC-NET Paper-I at izcq) IAS Academy, Aliganj, Lucknow in December, 2002. 
He was associated with the institutions of national repute like Sankalp IAS, Lucknow and Delhi and Vaid’s 
ICS Lucknow consecutively. He has written a dozen of articles and presented Research Papers in National 
and International journals and seminars respectively. My two books has been published on Medieval and 
Ancient India History. One of his book “GuptKal SwarnKal: Ek Mitkak” was inaugurated by honorable 
Shri Ram Naik Ji, The Governor of UP on 13.04.2018 at Raj Bhawan in Lucknow.

Dr. Smita Singh, professor of Home Science 
Department at OSN Academy Pvt Ltd. She has done her  
master’s and doctorate degree in Nutrition, an 
experience of 15 years in 
the field of teaching, research and clinical practice. She 
has worked as a research associate at NIPCCD (National 
Institute of Public Co-operation & Child Development),
a Central Government Institute under Ministry of Women & Child 
Development and preformed various research studies related to health 
and nutrition of children, adolescents, pregnant and lactating women and 
elderly, conducted by government of India. Currently she is working as a 
Clinical Dietitian also in a reputed multispecialty hospital. 
She has been working as a Clinical Dietitian in many reputed 
multispecialty hospitals for about 11 years, few of them are Neera 
Hospital, Shekhar Hospital, Hind Medical Institute, Midland Health & 
Research Centre. Being among the most experienced Dietitian working in 
the city. She has also conducted internship programme for students after 
completing their masters every year.

With a master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics & over fifteen years 
of experience, She has been helping people regain their health & 
confidence by guiding them with the right diet. She believes in 
continued learning. She qualified NET in Home Science with the 
keen desire to work to connect students to their material & to 
transform their lives. She is the owner & consultant dietitian at the 
Nutriwise Clinic, which is among the best diet clinics in Lucknow. 
She started her career with Heart hospital Patna, as their chief clinical dietitian. She has 
also worked as a certified Diabetes educator with ‘Pfizer India’ where she was 
conducting nurses training programmes. Presently she is associated with the ‘Almond 
Board of California’ as their Nutrition consultant. She is associated with OSN Academy 
Pvt Ltd as their faculty for Home Science which helps numerous students all of over 
India crack their UGC-NET Exam.
She has also conducted & participated in many talks and awareness programs related 
to health & nutrition. In the past few months she has given lectures at the Eat right 
India Movement conducted by FSSAI & IDA Lucknow chapter. She also participated in 
media interactions conducted by the California Almonds. Her articles related to health & 
nutrition are frequently published in Times of India. Presently I am attached with the 
Commercial Tax Officers Institute, imparting knowledge about health & nutrition to the 
officers

Mr. Vipul Mishra, Faculty of Human Resource 
Department at OSN Academy Pvt Ltd. He has 
done his master’s and perusing doctorate degree 
in Management. 
With rich experience of 10 years in the field of 
teaching and research he has diversified 
experience in counseling. His publications include 
many research papers published in national and 
international journals. Besides research papers, 
some books are also the part of his publication 
works.
