DJ Academy of Design was established in 2004 as a result of a felt shortage in the 
number of professionals in the design industry. Since then it has continuously 
improved and developed itself in order to be a globally competitive design 
school. They continue to build upon their curriculum and foundational courses, 
while focusing on industry immersion and interaction for their students. 
The university aims at providing quality education in the field of design which is 
relevant to the society, while at the same time being thoroughly professional and 
affordable. 
 
COURSES :
DJAD is predominantly a design college, and offers design courses at the 
undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with varied degrees of specialisation. 
It offers undergraduate courses for a duration of 4 years with the following 
specialisations :
Bachelors of Design : Communication Design
Bachelors of Design : Industrial Design
 
Postgraduate design courses are offered with the following specialisation and are 
of a duration of 2 years  
Masters of Design : Communication Design
Masters of Design : Industrial Design
 
Masters of Design : Service Design
Masters of Design : Furniture and Space Design
Masters of Design : User Experience Design

facilities of design colleges like technologically supported lecture halls, libraries, 
laboratories and exhibition spaces. Residential facilities are also provided.
