The application process is divided into three Stages.

How to fill the IIT JEE Application form - A step by step guide!
 
 
Stage 1: Filling The Application Details:-
• Visit the JEE Mains official website. And click Apply for JEE Main 2020.
• An instruction page will appear. Read out the instructions carefully. Then 
proceed to the Apply Online button.

• Now a form will appear you have to fill your Authentication details like id 
proof, Gender, city, etc. In the form then hit the submit button.
• Now, fill all the details related to the exam.
• In the next step, fill your personal details like your name, father/mother 
name Date of Birth, etc. 
• Then fill your contact details like email id, contact no, address.
• Then you have to create your password.

• After clicking the next button, you will be directly taken to the review page. 
If you entered the correct information, hit the final submission button if not 
click on the edit credentials button.
• After submitting the form, you will get directed to the next stage. 
 
Stage 2: Upload Photograph & Signature:-
 
• Click on " upload Scanned image."
• The image should be in JPG/JPEG format only.

• Size of the photograph should be greater than 10 kb and should be less 
than 200kb.
• Size of the signature should be greater than 4kb and not be greater than 
200kb.
 
• The dimension of the photograph should be  3.5 cm in (width) x 4.5 cm in 
(Height) and for signature the dimensions are 3.5 cm in (length) x 1.5 cm 
in (Height).
• After uploading, click on the preview button.

• After submitting the photograph and signature hit the submit button. The 
candidates will be redirected to the payment portal.
 
Stage 3: Make Payment:-
 
• Candidate can choose the payment mode according to their convenience 
( debit/credit card or net banking and offline mode of E-Challan. Then hit 
the pay now button.
