What is Kaal Sarp Shanti Puja?
 According to Astrology, Kaal Sarp Dosh happens when all the 
planets (Grah) are coming in between the Rahu and Ketu; then 
the person shows a sign of Kaal Sarp Yog in his/her natal chart. 
Kaal Sarp Dosh means disarrangements of Grah ( Planets) 
created by Rahu and Ketu. To remove this Dosh, We perform 
Kaalsarp Pooja at Trimbakeshwar Temple in the Nashik district 
(Maharashtra).
 Who is having Kaal Sarp Yog in his Kundali, then he/she often 
dreams about snakes. They see themselves getting bitten by these 
reptiles. They also repeatedly see their dead relatives or corpses in 
their dream.

Best Months to Perform Kaal Sarp Puja
 The most important day to do this pooja is Amavasya. 
We can do this Pooja on Sunday and Tuesday or On 
the Naga Panchami also. It is beneficial to do the 
pooja twice a year to get good results.
 This pooja can take place at the time of the 
Uttarayanam period that falls from 15th Jan to 15th 
July. It can also take place at the time of the 
Dakshinayanam period that falls from 15th July to 
15th Jan.

Clothes For Kaal Sarp Puja
 While performing Kaal Sarp Dosh Pooja, it is 
suggested that men should wear a Dhoti kurta and 
females should wear a Saree (other than a color like 
black, green, and white). It is said that colors like 
black and green should be avoided (VAJRA) for this 
ritual.
