5 Things a
Runner Needs
Although running is the most minimal sport and does not require any
fancy equipment. But as you take part in longer races, there are a few
things that every runner needs.
Whether it is just for personal safety or getting through months of intense
training, these are things every runner needs.
1.Running shoes
With increased running frequency and mileage,
your old sneakers are not the safest choice. If
you are running marathons and don’t own
proper running shoes you increase the chance
of injuries and long term problems.Every
running shoe has a maximum number of
kilometers that it should be used for and you
need to change your running shoes once you
cover those miles.
2.A proper Training Plan
Going out on a run once in a while may not
require a rigorous training plan but when
you decide to take part in longer marathons
you need to have a proper training plan
and become a committed athlete.
3.Anti Chafing cream
Petroleum jelly might be okay to use sometimes
but during training and actually running
marathons, you need a proper lubricant that can
protect your skin from chafing. This is one thing
absolutely every runner needs. No matter your
speed, your size, your age, or your experience,
you’re going to chafe sooner or later. An
Anti Chafing Cream made with natural
ingredients, which is also long lasting and sweat
resistant is your best option.
4.Running clothes
It is crucial to come prepared in terms of
clothes in order to increase our chances of
success and prevent any physical
discomfort brought on by changes in the
weather. A long sleeve breathable t-shirt,
and a thick jacket when it's freezing outside.
Wear a windbreaker when it's raining and
stay away from cotton clothing in the
summer when it's hot so that perspiration
can escape as fast as possible.
5.Proper water Intake
New runners don’t realize that their
water intake plays a large role in their
running capability. Carrying a water
bottle that can carry enough water for
the run and whose weight does not
hinder your running is what your aim
should be.
