DEWA Approval Procedure
• All applications should be submitted through online gateway.
• Once submitted, the standing of the application could be tracked online and

NOC from DEWA.
• Once DEWA approves the technical drawings, then an application for a technical 
field verification is submitted.
• DEWA can then prepare installation meters and provide the power connection, 
once the protection deposit has been paid, which should be directly done through 
DEWA’s on-line Portal.

• Copy of DEWA approved TCL/MD, MDBs/SMDBs.
• Wiring layouts- lighting
• Load distribution schedules of distribution boards.
• Wiring Layouts-Power
• Landlord No objection certificate (In DEWA prescribed Format)
• Tenancy contract, Trade licence and Passport copy.
The submitted application and documents is 
reviewed by DEWA and you’ll be notified through 
SMS.
