Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is a multi-disciplinary university offering its students 
and faculty a vibrant learning ecosystem designed around its multi-cultural and innovative ethos. 
Established in 1971 by Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, it is a ‘home away from home’ for international 
students. The university is based on the Vedic thought of "World as One Family" and is committed 
to building international understanding by offering quality education to students of more than 85 
countries.
Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Bengaluru (SCMS-B) is a constituent of Symbiosis 
International (Deemed University), Pune and began its operations in November 2021. Based in 
electronic city, the IT hub of Bengaluru, the institute employs a vibrant academic approach that 
enables learners to choose topics from a variety of areas. The unique curriculum combines business 
studies with data sciences and analytics to transform students into skills driven business managers.
BBA Overview - 
The BBA program is a four years and eight semesters full-time graduate program that strives to 
develop students into socially conscious responsible corporate citizens. This program, with its 
comprehensive and up-to-date curriculum and a large selection of optional modules, will enable 
students to pursue higher education at prestigious business institutions in India and overseas or to 
enter the corporate sector.

For the Batch of 2023-27, SIU announces the four-year degree programme with multiple entry and 
exit options as envisioned in the NEP 2020*. The highlights of the new programme offerings are as 
under

opportunity to pursue multidisciplinary, Ability and Skill enhancement courses.
• Offers a good blend of immersive learning, research and community engagement.
• Includes opportunities for semester exchange programmes with foreign universities.

• Offers the following exit options
a. A Certificate at the end of the first year of the programme with 44 credits
b. A Diploma at the end of the first two years of the programme with 84 credits
c. A UG Degree at the end of 3 years of the programme with 120 credits
d. A UG Degree with Honours / Research at the end of the 4 years of the programme 
with 160 credits.
• Offers option of Re-entry within 3 years of exit and 7 years as the maximum permissible 
period to complete the programme.
