The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Bill • The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Bill, 2019 was presented in Rajya Sabha on August 5, 2019 by the Minister of Home Affairs, Amit Shah. • The Bill accommodates revamping of the province of Jammu and Kashmir into the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh. 2. The Consumer Protection Bill, 2019 • The Consumer Protection Bill, 2019 was presented in Lok Sabha by the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Ram Vilas Paswan on July 8, 2019. • The Bill replaces the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.
