What is Dhanteras ??
Dhanteras is a Hindu festival that marks the start of 
 the five-day Diwali festival.
It's celebrated on the 13th day of the dark fortnight 
 of Ashwin or Kartik.
The word Dhanteras comes from the words "Dhan" 
 which means wealth, and "teras" which means  
thirteenth.
