HP OFFICEJET 3830 NO COMPUTER FOUND ISSUES ON SCANNING

HP OFFICEJET 3830 NO COMPUTER FOUND ISSUES ON SCANNING You can scan a document and send it to the required destination in several ways. Several HP printers come with these features: Scan to PC, Scan to email, Scan to Flash drives, etc. These features make digitalizing easy. The computer and your printer must be properly connected if you want to perform a scan without any interruptions. Sometimes, you may receive the “No computer found” message while performing a scan operation on your HP Officejet 3830 printer, and this could be due to communication issue. Usually, when your printer and the computer or mobile phone are not connected to the same network, you may receive such errors. So, if the No computer found message is displayed on your printer screen, check if the HP Officejet printer and your computer are connected to the same network. If not, connect them to the same network and then perform the scan operation on your printer. Now, if the No computer found message is displayed on the printer screen, even after both (printer and computer) the devices are connected to the same network, then you need to make sure that your HP Officejet 3830 printer firmware is up-to-date. Run the HP Easy Start application on your computer to check whether any error has occurred on your printer. To do so, open the HP Easy Start application and run it. Now, if a window with the message Enable Bonjour is displayed, it means the Bonjour feature on your printer is disabled or blocked. Usually, the Bonjour feature is enabled by default on the HP OfficeJet 3830 printer. If the Enable Bonjour message is displayed on the screen, then it means your network router is not compatible with it and is blocking the Bonjour feature on the printer. In this case, better connect your HP printer directly to the computer via Wi-Fi Direct. To do so, first, place your HP printer closer to the computer. Now, access your printer’s Wi- Fi Direct menu by tapping, pressing, or touching the Wi-Fi Direct icon. As soon as you do it, the credentials for the Wi-Fi Direct connection of your printer will be displayed on the printer screen. Note it down. On your computer, enable the Wi-Fi feature. Choose the Wi-Fi SSID that matches your printer’s Wi-Fi Direct SSID. Now, you need to enter the Wi-Fi Direct password in the given field to connect your printer to the computer via Wi-Fi Direct. Once your printer and the computer are connected to the same network, try to perform the scan operation. In most cases, the printer will perform the scan operation. In case the printer fails to perform, then you can use the HP Diagnose tool called HP Print & Scan Doctor. Using this tool, you can detect the cause of the problem and perform the necessary solutions to clear the No Computer Found message. After clearing the No Computer Found message using the HP Print & Scan tool, try to perform the scan to computer operation using the HP Easy Start application. While configuring the scan operation, make sure to choose the Scan to Computer option.
