HP Officejet Pro 8630 is an All-in-One printer  suitable for printing, copying, scanning,
and faxing your documents with high precision. It supports wired (Ethernet), wireless,
USB, wireless direct, and near field communication connectivity options.  Read through

Remove your printer from the box
The first  step you have to perform in the HP Officejet Pro 8630 printer setup is to take
your printer out of the box. You have to clear all the packing materials, including tapes,
from the outside and inside  of  the printer.  Make sure to remove the sticker from the
printer’s control panel. After unpacking the printer, make sure the packing materials are
recycled.
Install the duplexer
Remove  the  duplexer  from the  box and unpack it.  You have  to  place  the  unpacked
duplexer in its slot at the printer’s rear panel. Now, you have installed the duplexer. 
Turn on your printer
A power cord is included in the printer box. Use it to establish a connection between the
printer and a power outlet. Turn on the printer and continue with the HP Officejet Pro
8630 printer setup.
Set a language, country/region, date, and time
You can set your preferred language on the control panel. After this, tap the Continue
option for confirmation. Specify your region of residence and tap Continue. Set the time,
month, date,  and year correctly.  Tapping the Done option will  save the initial  printer
control panel settings.
Load paper into Tray 1
For loading paper, you have to remove Tray 1 completely from the printer.  Then, place
some plain white paper in Tray 1. Adjusting the paper width guides will align the paper
correctly  in Tray 1. After loading the paper,  you have to place Tray 1  back into the
printer. It is necessary to draw out the output tray extender. Also, open the paper catch.
Install the ink cartridges
Unpack the ink cartridges and place them in their respective slots. If you haven’t installed
the ink cartridges initially, you will see the ink cartridge error on the printer control panel.
Once the ink cartridges have been installed, the printer begins to print an alignment page.
Wait patiently until it finishes printing. Now, you have completed the hardware setup of
the printer.
Install the printer software
You can download the most recent  version of the printer software from the official HP
website and install it on your computer. It would help if you did not try to connect the
printer  to  the  computer  until  you see  the prompt  to  connect  both  the  devices in  the
installation wizard. Finally, you have finished the  HP Officejet Pro  8630 printer setup
successfully.
