Diagnostics
 Host response diagnostics is a feature that 
allows you to determine the response time of 
your application. You can use this feature in 
conjunction with other features such as host 
monitoring and host status to understand how 
your website is performing from a user's 
perspective.
Host response diagnostics monitors 
performance metrics, such as the time it takes 
for your server to respond, by collecting data 
from each request and response sent to and 
from your server.

You can also use host response diagnostics to 
identify potential issues with your servers or 
network infrastructure. For example, if you 
notice an increase in latency on your website, 
you can use this information to troubleshoot 
any problems that may be occurring on your 
servers or network infrastructure.
When you turn on host response diagnostics, 
Heroku monitors your app’s response time and 
sends an alert if it exceeds a specified 
threshold. You can use this feature to make 
sure your app is performing as expected and to 
identify issues that may affect customers.

Host response diagnostics provides insight into 
the health of your server and its ability to 
respond to requests.
Host response diagnostics is available in all 
Heroku Enterprise plans.
 Host response diagnostics is a troubleshooting 
tool that measures the time it takes for a host 
to respond to a request. Host response 
diagnostics can help you identify slow-
response hosts in your environment and 
determine whether they are causing 
performance issues.
In the Diagnose & Feedback section, click 
Networking & Security. In the Networking & 
Security page, under Host Response 
Diagnostics, click Analyze host response times. 
The Host Response Diagnostic page appears 
with all of the information gathered by this 
feature.
On the Host Response Diagnostic page, select 
one or more hosts from the list of available 
hosts on which you want to analyze their 
response times.
 To select multiple hosts at once, hold down 
Ctrl while clicking each host name in turn 
within the list; or hold down Shift while clicking 
each host name in turn within the list; or drag 
over multiple items in the list to select them all 
at once (circled).
