Why Should You Get Your 
Eyes Examined?
Getting your eyes examined is not necessarily 
reserved for when you experience discomfort. 
These are the reasons you should get an 
eye examination test:

Vision Screening Test
Vision screening test is probably the most 
common eye examination test to check 
your eyesight. A vision screening test is the 
best test that measures how well you can 
see up close and far away. It usually 
requires reading letters at a distance. This 
test is a quick way to decide if you need a 
comprehensive eye test. To take the test, 
you will have to stand 20 feet away from 
the chart and cover one eye. You have to 
read the letters of one row at a time until 
you get to the row that is the most difficult 
to see for you.
What To Do Before Going 
For An Eye Examination?
It is essential to be fully prepared before you get 
ready for an eye test appointment, vision 
screening test, or specsavers eye test. Here is 
the list of things you should do:
• Bring a list that clearly describes all your 
symptoms, like headache, dry eyes, 
blurry/distorted vision, etc
• Create a list of health problems that your 
family might have 
• Bring all your eyeglasses or contact lenses, if 
any.
• Wear sunglasses, even when you feel like 
there is not enough sunlight.
