The process  that enables  the  convers ion of s c a n n e d  a n d   
paper-based  constructi on d raw i n g s  into a  digital  format,  
s u c h  as  C A D  or BIM, is k n o w n  as  C A D  to B I M  convers ion  
in  the  constructi on  industry.
