ABOUT TRIMBAKESHWAR POOJA
It is believed that anybody who visits the 
"Trimbakeshwar" temple will get salvation after death. 
Trimbakeshwar is considered one of the most sacred 
places for performing rituals as the Holy river Ganga 
originates at "Bramhagiri Hill" (Gangadwar) and flows 
from the roots of the Audumbar tree. Another reason for 
Trimbakeshwar is being so sacred because it is the place 
of tri-sandhya Gayatri, Lord Ganesha's birthplace. Rishi 
Gorkhnath lives with their wife; it is where Nivruttinath 
made his brothers and sisters attain the self by his 
preaching. Trimbakeshwar a delightful spiritual 
atmosphere in and around it.
A unique feature of Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga is, it 
represents three faces embodying Lord Brahma, Lord 
Vishnu, and Lord Mahesh (trinity) adjoining Holy River 
Godavari. Due to excessive use of water, The Jyotirlinga 
become started to erode.

WORSHIP RITUALS AT 
TRIMBAKESHWAR TEMPLE
Trimbakeshwar Temple is famous for performing several Hindu religious rituals and vidhi's. Various vidhi's are 
accomplished here: Kalsarpa yoga, Narayan Nagbali, mahamrityunjay mantra Jaap, Kumbh Vivah, Rudra

done for Manglik brides and grooms having a delay in their marriage due to the Dosha. Kumbh 
Vivah means Pot and wedding; combined, it is a wedding with the (earthen) Pot.
MAHAMRUTYUNJAY JAAP
In this Jaap Vidhi, Supreme God shiva is being worshiped. This ritual is mainly performed to get a 
healthy and healed life and get freed from prolonged sickness. This puja is done at Brahma 
muhurta in the early morning in Trimbakeshwar temple.
