There are several eligibility requirements that 
applicants should fulfil to be eligible for the visa 
route.
• Must have secure a job by a designated UK employer
• Applicants must meet the 70-point threshold for the 
skilled worker route.
• Must have been granted a ‘Certificate of 
Sponsorship’ from the employer, specifying detailed 
information on the job being offered.
• The job must offer a minimum salary of £25,600 per year.
• Must be able to prove that your English language ability is 
to at least the level of B1.
• Applicants must have at least £1,270 in their bank 
account when applying.
What is the new scale-up worker visa to the UK?
The scale-up worker visa allows skilled professionals to come to the 
UK to work in an eligible job for a fast-growing UK business, referred to 
as a ‘scale-up business for at least six months. The scale-up worker 
visa aims to help UK businesses experiencing rapid growth to recruit 
the best and the brightest talents globally. The UK scale-up visa
 process allows holders of this visa category are allowed to leave their 
sponsored role after 6 months and switch to an unsponsored role.
