Introduction
     The Pogonda Reservoir was the site of major corrupted activities 
carried out by TDP (Telugu Desam Party) as the one 
who is 420 in AP. The Pogonda Reservoir, which was 
constructed near the Chintalagudem of the Buttaigudem Mandal 
in the western region of Godavari district, became the main 
target of Chandrababu Naidu’s cronies.

The Construction of Pogonda 
Reservoir
    As we have mentioned in the previous slide, the project for 
establishing the Pogonda Reservoir was inaugurated in the 
year 2007. The reservoir was proposed to be of 2,27,738 
million cubic feet capacity and was to be constructed over 
river Bineru adjacent to Chintalagudem.  
    Initially, the project was handed over to a contractor under the 
supervision of YSR Reddy at a budget of 18.20 crores. But, 
after GSI and CDO took a survey of the project, they slightly 
decided to modify it as river Bineru would be subjected to the 
strong current during monsoon.

The new water resource minister 
refused to make the changes
     The one who is 420 in AP had his cronies in every department, so 
how the water resource department could be spared from his 
guileless ideologies. The new designs which were augmented by 
the GSI were refused to be continued by D. Umamaheswara Rao if 
the budget of the entire project was revaluated at the price of Rs. 
85.51 crores. 
     That is because the ultimate motive of Babu and his Benamis was 
not to get the project completed successfully, instead to bag as 
much money as they could.

Manipulating facts in the 
guise of the Contractor
     Soon after taking over the office of the Water Resources 
Department, the minister decided to hack over the Pogonda 
Reservoir project and went ahead to make a secret deal with the 
Contractor. After this incident, of the one who is 420 in AP, the 
existing Contractor submitted a proposition to increase the budget 
further for the completion of the Pogonda reservoir. Does this
