International Ozone day
 This year the theme for International Ozone 
day is '32 Years and Healing'. 
 It celebrates over three decades of 
remarkable international cooperation to 
protect the ozone layer
 The students of class 1 B held an assembly 
on the 'International Ozone Day'. 
 Students discussed ways to protect the 
ozone layer. 
 Such meaningful conversations in the 
assemblies increase the knowledge of our 
students and make them environment-
conscious citizens of our country.
Assembly on World Literacy Day
 Students of class 3 C held an assembly on World 
Literacy Day recently. 
 Students also shared the latest national and 
international news with their peers.
 Students gave informative speech on educational 
initiatives by the Indian Government. 
 It drew particular attention to the need for 
intensified efforts towards more literate societies 
and communities.
 The assembly ended with the National Anthem 
and with a promise to make people aware of the 
importance of literacy.
Inter-School Chess championship
 We are delighted to share that our 
students performed exceptionally well in 
the Inter-school chess championship which 
was held at Sun N Step club recently.
 85 players from 20 schools of Ahmedabad 
took part in this championship. 
 Our students took part for the first time in 
this championship. The school imparts 
chess coaching as a part of the school 
curriculum in grade 4.
 Congratulations to all the winners and our 
Chess coaches !
Creating Awareness on Wildlife
 An activity was held in class 5 D and 5 E in which students tried to create awareness 
to protect the Wildlife. 
 In this activity, students were shown clips of the Wildlife, which are on the verge of 
extinction.
 They were motivated to create posters on wild animals as they are an integral part 
of the ecosystem. Students researched on this topic and created posters and shared 
the facts and figures with their friends. Have a look at the pictures.
Assembly for ‘Environment Awareness’
A general school assembly was held recently by the students of the Middle and 
Secondary section to ignite the school spirit and instill a sense of belonging in all 
Zebarties. The theme of the assembly was 'Environment Awareness’.
 It also encouraged Zebarites towards utilizing the opportunities the school has to 
offer to its students. 
Students of grade 9 gave dance performance to pass the message that people should 
not cut the trees and also they performed the play how we have been selfishly 
plundering the earth and her natural resources.
