Introduction

policy processes, insecure livelihoods, and environmental pressures. The International Collective in 
Support of Fishworkers (ICSF) works to address these challenges by providing services that support 
small-scale fisheries, promote sustainable fisheries governance, and strengthen the participation of 
coastal communities in decision-making.
Through research, advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives, ICSF contributes to fisheries systems 
that are socially just, environmentally responsible, and inclusive.
ICSF’s Role in Supporting Fisheries Governance
ICSF offers service-oriented support that connects grassroots realities with national and international
