3Days Gorilla Tracking Bwindi forest and Lake Bunyonyi safari package takes
you through adventurous, memorable and relaxing moments, and gives you
chances to the thrilling and exciting mountain gorilla tracking expedition in
Bwindi  Impenetrable  Forest  Park  situated  in  the  south  western  region  of
Uganda,  and  an  adventurous  driving  through  the  hilly  areas  of  Kisoro  -
Kabale. After your morning breakfast on day 3, expect to go for a canoeing
on Lake Bunyonyi.
Day 1 - Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You are picked up from wherever you deem convenient by our driver guide
at exactly 7:00 am for your adventurous safari trip. We shall have a brief
stopover at the Uganda Equator for some minutes, snaps and then proceed
to Mbarara town for where we shall have our lunch from at Agip motel.
After our lunch in Mbarara town, we continue with our journey by driving
through Bushenyi, Ishaka, and the tea plantations at Igara. We then get to
great  views  of  Queen  Elizabeth  national  park,  and  as  we  drive  through
Ishasha we get a chance of spotting the tree climbing lions on the fig trees
and some elephants.
We continue with our journey through kabale to Ruhija sector town where we
check in at Bakiga lodge to relax after our long journey, have dinner, and get
ready for the next day thrilling gorilla trekking Uganda adventure.
Day  2  -  Gorilla  Tracking  Bwindi  and  Lake  Bunyonyi  Kabale
Experience
After having the morning breakfast, report to the Bwindi park headquarters
by exactly 7:30 am for a brief highlights and guidelines or rules about the
mountain gorilla trekking etiquette. After the brief highlights at the entrance
of the Bwindi national park and the same time the starting point for the giant
gorilla tracking.
We shall penetrate the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to look for these gentle
giant mountain gorillas under the guidance of a trained, knowledgeable and
experienced guide. Time taken tracking highly depends on how fast you will
locate a gorilla family, it can take us a few minutes or even an entire day to
locate  them.  We  shall  return  from  the  highly  tiresome  adventure  to  a
relaxation.
After the gorilla tracking activities, we shall drive through the terraced hills
and finally head to Lake Bunyonyi for a comfortable and great relaxing time
at Bunyonyi Rock Resort.
Day 3 - Canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi and travel back to Kampala
After having the early morning breakfast, we shall go for a canoeing on Lake
Bunyonyi and finally drive back to Kampala after a lunch en-route.
