What is Air Compressor Machine?
An air compressor is a device that converts power (usually from
an electric motor or a diesel engine) into potential energy stored
in pressurized air.

a type of air compressor in which
air is sucked into a chamber and
compressed with the help of a
reciprocating piston.

High Pressure Air Compressor
A high-pressure air compressor is
a type of air compressor that is
capable of generating high
pressure levels, typically above 7
bar (100 psi)

The working of an air compressor can be
explained :
1. Intake of air: Air is drawn into the compressor via an intake valve.
2. Compression: The air is then compressed by a piston, a rotating screw,
or a centrifugal compressor, increasing the air pressure and reducing its
volume.
3. Cooling: After compression, the hot compressed air is cooled, typically
by an aftercooler, to reduce its temperature and moisture content.
4. Storage: The compressed air is stored in a pressure tank or receiver,
ready for use.
