Leading a Healthy Life
Ayurveda has been used in India since 5000 years ago to
live a healthy and disease free life. It has been used to cure
physical abnormalities as well as to create mental peace. It
is such a pure way of leading a life having no side effects.
Today we have isolated ourselves in sedentary and
busy work lifestyle through which we don’t have
enough to take care of our health properly and
that is why education of Ayurveda in India is
important. So for those people who are looking
for some small ways to change their body as well
as lifestyle, here is the way you can use Ayurveda
tips in your daily life to make your health full of
life.
1. Be disciplined
Follow daily routine to be disciplined which is one
of the fundamental and crucial tools to lead a
healthy life. Discipline means to right thing at
right time in right amount.
For example – according to Ayurveda, sleeping time
must be from 10 PM and waking time must be
before the sunrise.
2. Eat only if you are hungry
Whenever we feel hungry our body has digested
the previous food and the Agni inside our body is
ready to digest the next meal, which is why one
should eat according to hunger.
Eating food when there is no hunger can cause
indigestion which in turns can leads to gaining of
weight i.e., kapha disorders and other diseases.
3. Drink water according to thirst
There is no fixed amount of water mentioned in
Ayurveda in order to drink daily. However, your
body will give you indications when to drink
water, so try to drink water according to thirst.
Sometimes, drinking water more than required is
good but try to avoid it, because sometimes it
can lead to Kapha problems like kidney problems,
edema etc.
4. Practice Yoga daily
The truth is our body is made up in order to work
everyday. Work means physical work exercises like
walking, running, yoga etc. in order to lead healthy
life exercise is very important to keep our body fit.
According to Ayurveda, one should practice yoga daily
to gain tremendous benefits.
Yoga exercises like surya namaskar or individual
exercises helps body in getting fit, improving muscle,
having good digestion, strengthening bones etc.
5. Practice meditation at least 15
minutes a day
Practicing meditation at least 15 minutes a day has
lots of benefits such as it helps in reducing stress
and anxiety, promoting emotional health,
enhances self-awareness, helps in retrieving
memory loss, helps in improving sleep, decrease
in blood pressure, maintaining blood sugar levels,
helps in controlling pain and many other benefits.
6. Massage your hairs with oils
Massaging hairs with oils can help in reducing wrinkles
and other skin issues like aging signs etc. Oil
massaging especially in morning helps in preventing
drying of tissues and nurturing mind as well as body.
