There are many rumors going on 
around street dogs in India. 
Sometimes even a curious dog who 
may wag his tail with no hostile 
feeling can be misinterpreted and 
people may hurt them thinking they 
are doing it for self defence. 
1. Street Dogs Are Dangerous
Dogs won’t try to hurt you or 
bite you without any reason. 
They wouldn’t harm or chase you 
just because they can. 
Just like humans, past and 
present experiences affect the 
way dogs behave. They might 
get triggered because of 
aggressive action from your side. 
If you treat them nicely and 
respect their space, they will do 
the same for you.
2. They Carry Diseases & Are Unhygienic
As there is no one to tend a street 
dog they have no other choice but 
to live without a roof over their 
head and in dirt. 
You may try to feed them if you 
come across one or try to search for

3. Street Dogs Aren’t Friendly
A street dogs behaviour totally 
depends on how it was treated in the 
past. If they were abused or were
