Laundry detergent are used to clean clothing. The 
products can be separated according on how they are

any washable material. Since less detergent is required for 
the same cleaning operation, many detergents are

are all forms of laundry detergent. Exposure to chemicals in laundry 
products can happen by:
– the inhalation of volatile chemicals, aerosols, or detergent dust.
– direct skin contact with washing products that have been diluted or not diluted.
– indirect dermal contact caused by the skin-contacting substances released from the 
fabric.
