Honey mainly consists of three main components which are glucose, fructose, and water. Its original color is purple but is often known as black honey because it looks black unless the light is shining through it. Consumers prefer raw buckwheat honey more which is unprocessed in nature. This may be due to various health benefits offered by it which includes preservation of necessary vitamins, enzymes, and antioxidants which are essential for human consumption.
