unveiled the 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat App
Development Challenge' for techies to build
applications that can meet Indian consumer
demands and compete globally as well.

In the following 8 broad categories the AatmaNirbhar
Bharat App Innovation Challenge is launched:
1. Work Productivity & Homework
2. Sharing social networks
3. E-learn
4. Entertainment
5. Health & Fitness
6. Business operations including Agritech and Fintech

8. Games
Under each group there may be many subcategories.

Submission Guidelines
• The app innovation challenge will be available
on innovate.mygov.in for Indian entrepreneurs.
The last date of submission of entry is 18th
July 2020
• The applicant may only apply online by
registering and logging in to MyGov portal to
submit their proposals: www.mygov.in

Important points for submission
• For an accurate and equitable evaluation /
review, applicants are recommended to
submit self-contained proposals with
necessary supporting materials provided
as uploads.
• Once plans are submitted no modifications
will be considered. Providing inaccurate
details will cause plans to be refused
outright.

Selection Stages
A two stage selection process will take place:
• 1st Step-Screening of qualifying entries
• 2nd level-Jury assessment, with actual demo

Rewards
In each of the eight main categories of apps
subsequent awards will be given:
1. First Prize Prize: 20 Lakhs
2. Second Prize: 15 Lakhs
3. Third Prize: 10 Lakhs

Our startups' ability to create creative
solutions is also illustrated by the
enthusiastic response to last month 's
launch of the Video Conferencing
Innovation Challenge, which saw over
2000 submissions, 12 of which were
shortlisted to make prototypes, and the top
5 were chosen to develop full-scale
solutions after evaluation.

Expected Applications
• A smartphone application that uses the most precise
facial and/or body mapping technologies to allow
simulated real-to-life testing of items such as displays,
clothes, etc.
• Iphone application for real time speech to voice
conversion and multi-language camera conversion.
• An automated web-based application that handles the
generation and cold emailing of business-to-business
lead and is fully manageable from a mobile device.
