smart phones.

• The PACT protocol relies on the same 
technology as the Find My iPhone 
program.
• Short-range Bluetooth signals known as 
“chirps” are emitted from the smart 
phone.

upload their chirps to a public database.
• Others with the app would then be 
notified.

app and is now serving in an advisory role.
