• Starlink’s low-orbit satellites cost a fraction of 
the price of typical satellite launches, making it 
easier and more affordable to launch satellites 
at scale.

STARLINK APPROVED IN THE UK
• The UK provided the green signal for internet 
satellite services on the Starlink of SpaceX and 
customers in SpaceX have already obtained a 
public beta testing settings package.

HOW MUCH WILL STARLINK INTERNET COST?
• People in the UK who signed up for SpaceX’s 
Beta test have started receiving the Starlink 
kit, which costs £439, or about $600, up front, 
plus £84, or about $120, for a monthly 
subscription.

speeds of about 104 Mbps and upload 
speeds of about 16 Mbps, plus an average

INDIA AMBITIONS FOR STARLINK’S SATELLITE INTERNET
• Now, there is speculation that Starlink may 
have ambitions for India as the company has 
already replied to the consultation paper of the 
Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) 
about a "Promote Broadband Connectivity and 
Enhanced Broadband" roadmap.
