History of Chanakya and His Principles.
Introduction
• Chanakya was born 371 BC.
• Chanakya has been traditionally identified as
Kautilya or Vishnugupta.
Relation with Maurya Empire
• Chanakya devoted his life to framing the Maurya
Empire and managing its pioneer—
Chandragupta Maurya and his child, Bindusara.
Parents
• Father: Rishi Canak or Chanin
• Mother: Chanesvari
Principle – 1 (Vasudha-Eva-Kutumbakam)
• His principles mention about treating the
whole world as a single unit.
• His beliefs are based on making relations
with outer world where we live in.
Principle – 2 (Dedication)

• This principle states, not to share secrets
with anyone.

Principle – 5 (Nishkaama Karma)

Principle – 5 (Ati-Hyaastha-Varjayet)
